Street flushing uses pressurized water to suppress dust, loosen and remove surface debris, and wash down roads and parking lots that sweeping alone can't fully clean. Flushing and street sweeping are designed to work together. Sweeping lifts and removes debris while flushing suppresses the fine dust that sweeping can stir up and washes surfaces to a finish that sweeping alone can't achieve.

ClearWorks operates a dedicated water trucks for road flushing and parking lot flushing. Our units are fully self-contained with their own water supply, so there's no dependency on site hookups or external water sources.

Sweeping mechanically lifts and removes loose debris from road surfaces. Flushing uses pressurized water to suppress fine dust, loosen caked-on mud, and wash surfaces to a clean finish. The two services complement each other - sweeping removes bulk debris, flushing handles what sweeping stirs up or can't fully clear. Many of our clients use both together as part of a complete road maintenance program.

Flushing is most useful during dry periods (typically spring through fall) when dust accumulation is highest and roads are most in need of washing. Post-winter cleanup is also a prime time, as roads carry significant debris and salt residue after the season.
Flushing isn't performed when snow or ice is present on surfaces. During winter months, we perform snow plowing and salting services for our clients.
